Moving with Missy
Missy was raised in the Collierville area. She attended Collierville High School before graduating and attending the University of Mississippi. There, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial Finance and continued her education at Christian Brothers University, where she received a Master of Arts in Teaching.
Missy was an elementary teacher at Briarcrest Christian School for 11 years, and continues to work there as a substitute teacher and tutor. She has taught kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade classes and has also worked as a substitute teacher throughout the Collierville Municipal School System.
Missy regularly attends services at St. Patrick Presbyterian Church as well as Collierville First Baptist Church where she is involved in women’s Bible studies. She has also performed missionary work in Guatemala through Collierville First Baptist Church. Missy loves updating homes and has a unique eye for interior and exterior design selections. Her passion for these projects stems from her experience as a design consultant with a local homebuilder.
Missy has two children who both attended and graduated from Briarcrest. In her free time, besides spending time with her family (and her two dachshunds), Missy loves being outside - walking and riding bikes around her neighborhood and Collierville’s parks.
Her motto is one frequently quoted by Joanna Gaines...
“Today is a good day for a good day.”
